(In the Middle East, hash has been a stimulant for centuries). There is a large collection of traditional pipes and smoking devices from all over the world. A collection of photos, posters, and magazines documents the progress of modern cannabis culture, from the 19th century to the Jazz era and on to our contemporary pop culture.
The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum offer visitor’s extensive documentation and a wealth of historical facts on today’s use of the cannabis plant as well as information on its medicinal, religious and cultural applications. In addition attention is given to the importance of cannabis to the environment, agriculture and industry.
The museum shows that hemp has evolved to reclaim its place as one of the Man’s most valuable raw materials.
Cannabis plants in their different stages of development can be admired in the indoor hydroponic garden. Our souvenir shop offers a wide variety of hemp-based articles for visitors to remember their visit to the museum.
Because cannabis is considered controversial in many parts of the world the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum aims to provide an objective picture of this remarkable plant. At the museum, visitors will be able to gain a deeper insight into this controversy, as a visit will bring a wealth of information not always available in the mainstream media. In the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum, the past, present and future of the cannabis plant are merging together.
